Job Title: Safety Environmental Manager
Work Schedule: 07:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Duration: 3-5+ month (Possibilities of extension)
Description:
Safety occupational workplace
Manufacturing experience a plus
CSP certification a plus not required
Degree in Environment and Health and Safety field
Manage Safety, Health and Environment for manufacturing operations.
Manage, develop and publish safety and environmental programs consistent with regulations and company policy, as well as performance indicators.
Perform job hazard analysis to identify loss potential of our systems and processes; Review and analyze loss data to discover causative agents and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement of locations standards, policies and practices as necessary to assure they are current and support company and / or regulatory requirements.
Review and evaluate technical developments to measure applicability to our processes.
Train associates, supervisors and other employees in the areas of general safety and environmental awareness, specific program requirements and specific job requirements. Create learning pathways and training programs to develop health and safety competencies of the team. Create monthly learning.
Maintain required records, prepare reports and files as necessary to meet corporate and regulatory requirements.
Establish and monitor key leading and lagging indicators to improve overall safety performance.
Represent the organization in internal and external audits.
Utilizing approved measurement procedures, such as cost stats and work sampling to evaluate performance.
Conduct health and safety inspections. Recommend and/or implement corrective actions as necessary.
Organize and coordinate emergency response.
Conduct ergonomics assessments and implement solutions.
Organize and lead the safety committee. Create pathways to more employee engagement.
Lead job safety analysis and hazard assessments. Analyze data and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Coordinate accident investigation and reporting.
Facilitate OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001.
Promote a culture of zero incidents and strong value on our human resources.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements.

Ability to manage projects with on time delivery
Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and PA DEP regulations
Accident investigation experience
Familiar with job safety analysis process
Bachelor's degree from accredited institution
Minimum 5-7 years' experience in safety & environmental specialist or engineer role
