Job Description
Position Summary:

Affini-T Therapeutics is an emerging biotechnology company focused on building a "best-in-class" TCR therapy platform. Our innovative method of discovering high affinity TCRs specific to oncogenic mutations enables development of solid tumor therapies. Through the application of gene editing and synthetic biology, we will focus on enhancing T-cell fitness to overcome the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment.

Affini-T Therapeutics is announcing a Scientist, Synthetic Biology, opportunity at their Boston, MA Headquarters.
  • We are looking for a biologist who will play an important role in developing our TCR-T cell therapy platforms as well as applying innovative research biology approaches to develop next-gen cell therapy products. The individual should be able to independently plan and execute TCR-T cell production, assay and model development, and characterization studies for novel cell enhancements and TCRs specific for oncogenic driver mutations. Requirements also include preparing study protocols, reports, technology transfer documentation, and regulatory documents for clinical trials. The candidate is expected tocollaborate across the entire cell therapy discovery spectrum, contributing to target identification and validation, TCR engineering, gene editing, and novel armoring strategies to improve the fitness of T cells or modulate the immunosuppressive signals from the tumor microenvironment. Previous experience in Immuno-Oncology and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry within the cell therapy field is preferred. The successful candidate will be a great team player, hard worker, and have outstanding communication skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The major tasks for this position are as follows:
