Job Description
Trinity River Authority is seeking an Environmental Services Coordinator for it's Pretreatment Division at the Central Regional Wastewater System in Dallas, Texas. This position supervises, plans, coordinates, and implements environmental programs associated with the Authority's Northern Region water and wastewater operating projects to meet objectives and requirements established by local, state, and federal regulations. Responsibilities include the oversight and implementation required in conducting activities of assigned regulatory programs. This position also interprets ordinances, regulations and government mandates in order to resolve environmental impacts, maintain required logs, records and preparation of reports to ensure compliance with regulations. Engages in special environmental projects and interacts with citizens, contracting parties, contractors, regulatory agencies and other entities.

Bachelor of Science Degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, chemistry, biology, or other related field. Four years of increasingly responsible technical and administrative experience in inspecting, investigating, and environmental management programs, to include two years of administrative and supervisory responsibility and complying with mandate regulations.

Valid Texas driver's license and possession or ability to obtain a Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (or predecessor agency) Class B Wastewater Operator's Certificate of Competency.
