Senior Project Manager Needed for the Business Side of an Advanced Li-ion Battery Company

About GDI
GDI is a global researcher and manufacturer of advanced 100% silicon anode technology for next generation Li-ion batteries. They have recently raised a Series A investment and are looking to expand their world class team. The fight against the climate crisis requires next generation battery technology to accelerate electric mobility, defense/aerospace, electronic device performance, and renewable energy integration.

GDI has developed and patented a 100% silicon anode technology that significantly improves battery performance - increasing Li-ion energy density by 30% and reducing charging times to 15 minutes. GDI has 9 US patents and 32 pending patents globally, in various stages.

Silicon will drive the future of Li-ion battery performance, but it also has many challenges to overcome in order to become the most dominant anode material in the global industry. GDI is looking for hard-working, passionate individuals that want to be on the cutting edge and solving difficult problems. The company has demonstrated its anode's superior performance by testing multi-layered pouch cells that can charge from 10-75% state of charge in just 15 minutes over 600 cycles without plating lithium, and importantly, without megapascals of external compression, or additional lithium.

What truly sets GDI apart from competitors, is our focus on industrial manufacturing. GDI and its partners are making anodes on industrial solar and glass manufacturing equipment that is in use worldwide.

As a key member of our growing team, you will help grow the company so that we can do our part in the fight against climate change.
