Computational Biologist (Sr. Scientist)

Our client is a clinical stage bio pharmaceutical company that is focused on the discovery and progress of cancer therapeutics. Their aim is to transform patient results. They are looking for an experienced scientist to join their Computational Biology team within R&D. Using strong programming skills and to software development practices, they will manage, analyze and visualize multi-omics data and workflows to conclude appropriate gene regulatory networks, and characterize their perturbations in tumors.

What you will be doing…

* Developing, evaluating, implementing, and performing computational methods and reproducible workflows for ChIP-Seq, ATAC-Seq, RNA-Seq, and additional data analysis
* Working closely with target program teams and contributing to the identification and validation of novel oncology targets leveraging public and proprietary datasets
* Contributing to the analysis of production scale projects
* Independently designing and executing informatics analysis and software development

What you need…

· PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, or related quantitative discipline with 5+ years of hands-on experience.
· Experience with building and executing ChIP-Seq/ ATAC-Seq pipelines

* Proficiency in Python and R.
* Sound understanding of statistical analysis principles
* Familiarity with public data resources like DepMap, CCLE, TCGA etc
* Facility with software development principles and version control (GitHub), Docker

· Highly analytical, attentive to detail, and organization skills are important
