As a gifted Computational Biologist you will have a unique chance to join a start-up and spearhead the development of RNA structure and functional discovery pipelines. You will also be a key driving force behind the company mission to pioneer a small molecule drug targeting RNA. You will work closely with a remote team across Canada and US who have adopted a proven methodology for working effectively across time zones.

If you have these skills, then we are excited to speak with you

You will have a PhD in Computational biology (or similar field) and possess hands-on experience with NGS data with a particular focus on techniques for the study of RNA structure. You will also demonstrate expertise with state-of-the-art FASTQ processing and mapping tools. Coding abilities in Python, R and Perl would be a great fit for this position.

We are looking for someone who shoulders responsibility well and has a zeal for the contribution they make to the wider team. You will adapt easily to changing priorities and go about your work with diligence and integrity.
