Job Description Experience in professional safety or environmental work specifically in Asbestos abatement, survey, design, project monitoring, familiar with SSPC C3/C5 guidelines for surface preparation Knowledge of pertinent Federal and State regulations governing the identification and removal of Asbestos containing materials and disturbance of lead Familiarity with airborne silica generating operations Familiar with OSHA/PESH regulations Must be able to read drawings Good Computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Candidate should have extensive knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and capable to address environmental issues
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering (electrical or communications degree preferred), engineering technology, architecture or related fields New York State Dept. of Labor (NYS DOL) Asbestos Supervisor 30-Hour OSHA Certification and 8-hour Lead Awareness Course are required
