Nasoya is hiring a Enviromental Health and Safety Coordinator to be responsible for assisting the EH&S Department with tasks related to compliance reports. This individual will ensuring effective and efficient compliance with local, state and federal regulations and agencies.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Under the direction of the head of EHS, develop and maintain the company's Environmental, Safety and Health programs in accordance with company policies and/or applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct EHS compliance audits, gap analysis, preparing reports and permit applications, performing research and data evaluation, and management and recordkeeping of compliance tasks.
  • Perform EH&S assessments to ensure facility's compliance with the environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating and collaborating with employees and management to plan, prepare, and develop the environmental sustainability programs and policies for a project, which is in compliance with the company's requirements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliant EH&S programs.
  • Reviews new and current local, state, and Federal EPA regulations & company EH&S policies and help implement appropriate programs to ensure compliance.
  • Provide on-site EHS support including completion of routine inspections, development of EHS programs, and correction of audit deficiencies in accordance with OSHA, DEP, EPA, and federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Maintains records to comply with OSHA, local, state (DEP), and federal EPA regulations.
  • Update and maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (or Safety Data Sheets), Chemical Inventories, Emission Logs, Employee Training Matrix, etc.
  • Interfacing with EHS compliance support vendors on regulatory compliance matters including permit management, regulatory reporting (i.e., air, waste, EPCRA, etc.), industrial hygiene, and industrial safety.
  • Preparation and presentation of training modules to employees in regard to environmental compliance.
  • Be a team player and work with other members of the EH&S team.
  • Manage or oversee the delivery of EHS projects.
  • Other responsibilities assigned by the head of EHS department

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or preferred
  • One (1) to three (3) years related experience including knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations including safety training, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • CPR, forklift and OSHA 10 certification
  • General working knowledge of EMS - ISO 14001)
