How this opportunity is different These roles fall under Aons Early Career Development program, known as Launch. Building on the development colleagues receive in the role they are hired into; the Launch program is a supplemental development program for recent college recruits to mentor and develop future leaders of the firm. This 10-month development program begins every summer and includes in-person sessions, networking opportunities, self-study and global leader calls. What the day will look like Aons Global Marine Specialty Practice is structured to deliver global capabilities locally. We work closely with various clients and many industries - including but not limited to, manufactures, distributors, logistics, life science, energy and technology - to interpret their needs, using a data-driven approach and technology that collects and analyzes global market data in real time, to support carrier selection and negotiation. Provide routine support in marketing new and renewal business, handling all aspects of the placements from initial market selection through policy delivery to clientIdentify and analyze prospect and client exposuresCoordinate activities with other internal units as required to meet customer needsAssist in the creation of quality market submissionsAid in identifying and analyzing client exposures and determine which markets to utilize, ensuring thorough evaluation of qualified companies in the marketplaceGain thorough knowledge of the Cargo insurance marketplace, products and servicesDevelop productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters and Aon local office teamsBuild productive working relationships with peers and higher-level professionals internally and externally to exchange information and make recommendationsSkills and experience that will lead to success Were looking for collaborators, critical thinkers, problem solvers, excellent teammates, effective communicators, relationship builders and future leaders.
