Job Title: Scientist, Junior/Mid., Environmental Compliance
Job Status: Full Time

Independently performs day-to-day scientific analyses and project tasks. Under general direction, prepares plans and specifications, and cost estimates. Generally, has responsibility for management of junior staff.
Manage and conduct site assessments and compliance inspections
Manage and conduct water and soil sampling programs
Analyze and maintain data, prepare technical and regulatory reports, letters, memoranda, plans, and proposals
Assist in developing recommendations
Communicate with clients
Work with project teams and client account managers and account teams to deliver best-in-class service
Manage projects or tasks
Qualifications (Education and Experience):
Bachelor's degree in an environmental-related science, policy, or engineering-related field.
2 years of experience implementing environmental regulatory compliance programs; experience in consulting, regulated industrial operations/businesses, and regulatory agencies is welcome.
Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead certification
Stormwater Discharge and Permits in Construction preferred
Strong knowledge of two or more environmental regulatory subjects such as stormwater, wastewater, oil spill planning, waste, hazardous and toxic materials, or air emissions.
Experience implementing compliance programs.
Experience with WSDOT, Sound Transit and other Transportation agencies preferred.
A valid driver's license and a reliable means of transportation.
