POSITION SUMMARY:Epsilon is seeking a full-time Senior Planner to support our planning practice. Primary responsibilities will include the management and preparation of environmental review documents for agency and public review under the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act, Boston's Article 80 regulations (i.e., City environmental review), and the Massachusetts Waterways Regulations (Chapter 91). The work is both individual and collaborative and the successful candidate will be one that can work well with their fellow employees, clients, and review agencies.Important areas of knowledge and interest may include urban planning, sustainable development, greenhouse gas emissions, and climate change resiliency/adaptation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:The successful candidate will preferably meet the following requirements and qualifications:
  • Degree in environmental planning, environmental science, urban planning, or a related field; a Masters's degree is preferred, but not required.
  • Seven to 10 years of Project Management experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge and working experience with local, state, and federal environmental laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work cooperatively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience in writing proposals and overall business development.
