Wieland is hiring for an EHS Coordinator who is responsible for compliance and risk management for ISO, Federal Agency Standards and permits regarding Environmental, Saftey and Health. EHS Coordinator Responsibilities:Develops, publishes and raises general level of awareness of safety and environmental programs consistent with regulations, ISO 45001 & 14001 standards and company policyConducts hazard and job safety analysis to ensure proper use of machinery and equipment, personal protective equipment, and procedures.Develops, oversees and performs training of employees/contract associates, managers/supervisors and other employees in the areas of general safety and environmental awareness, specific program requirements and specific job requirements.Responsible for compliance of documentation and review of work procedures and machine guarding to ensure compliance with OSHA. Facilitates EHS incident reporting software, assessing root causes, and working cross - functionally to resolve.Develops, reviews and revises company standards, policies and practices as necessary to ensure they are current and in concert with company and / or regulatory requirements such as OSHA and ISO Standards.Maintains required records, prepares reports and files as necessary to meet corporate and regulatory requirements.Organizes and coordinates emergency response, evacuation and crisis management plans.Investigates observations, close calls and incidents to ascertain causes in order to develop preventive safety measures and programs with a heavy focus on a behavioral based safety approach.Develop and promote safety culture initiatives and activities.

Responsibilities:
Bachelor degree (B.A.) in Environmental, Health and Safety - preferredExperience with ISO 14001 and 45001 - preferredKnowledge EHS Management Systems - preferred Experience in implementation of a Behavioral Based Safety Program - preferred 2+ years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience, 5+ in lieu of degree - required
