Head Pool Lifeguard/Aquatic Program Supervisor

Job Descriptions:

Edgewater Beach and Cabana Club is looking for a HEAD GUARD/AQUATIC PROGRAM SUPERVISOR to oversee Lifeguards, Swim Team and Swim Lessons Program for the 2020 Beach Club Season. A team leader with Management experience. This candidate will be part of our Management Team. This position focuses on hiring, overseeing, scheduling and training our Lifeguard Staff, Swim Team and Swim Lessons Program.

COACH/PRIVATE AND GROUP SWIM LESSONSAND SWIM TEAM COACH for the 2020 Summer Season.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY

• Coach our Beach Clubs Swim team (Ages 4-16) through daily practices and schedule meets with other clubs.
  
• Teach swimming and water safety to our members at different levels and ages through scheduled private and group lessons.
  
• Enforce all pool safety rules and regulations.
  
• Maintain positive relationship between management and Edgewater Beach Club members.
  

SPECIFIC DUTIES ARE TO INCLUDE

• Oversee Pool Lifeguards - Scheduling,Training, Running Drills, Reprimands
  
• Pool/Hot Tub Cleaning
  
• Pool/Hot Tub Readings
  
• Coach Swim Team (Ages 4-16)
  
• Instruct Swim Lessons or Oversee Swim Lesson Instructor
  
• • Schedule daily practices and weekly meets.
• All preparation and pool maintenance for daily practices, swim meets and lessons.
  
• Assess swimmer swimming ability and water confidence level.
  
• Swim Lesson Instructor
  
• Assess swimmer ability and water conference level.
  
• Work with students at their pace while always pushing them to progress.
  
• Complete weekly progress reports for all students.
  
• Develop weekly lesson plans based on students individual needs.
  

Required Experience:

Requirements:

• 18 Years of Age
  
• In good physical condition
  
• Must possess a valid Lifeguard Certification
  
• Valid CPR and First Aid Certifications (Copies of all certificates MUST be submitted with application)
  
• Experience a plus
  
• Excellent people and communication skills
  
• Swim Coach required to schedule practices and meets
  
• Work closely with Sea Bright Ocean Rescue who guards our ocean with assisting in saves, drills, set up
  
• MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER
