Waste Approvals Specialist / Environmental Sales Assistant

Job Description
We are seeking an Approvals Specialist / Sales Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information to disposal facilities. The person we are looking for is a people person with the ability to maintain good relationships with customers, and operations team while ensuring that work is performed efficiently. Responsibilities:

• Handle sales inquiries
• Collect soil, sludge, and wastewater samples as needed.
• Assist Schedule slots into disposal facilities per Operations.
• Complete profiles and send them to designated disposal facilities.
• Handle disposal facility invoice discrepancies
• Negotiate pricing with facilities for drum, lab packs, oil and water projects.
• Package sample for shipments or delivery to disposal facilities.
• Assist Sales with House Accounts
• Document and update customer records based on interactions
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in waste approvals.
• Bachler's - Environmental Science (Preferred)
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
