Intro
Manage and coordinate Environmental, Safety, Health, and Security functions created by the operations of the facility. Also facilitate all Corporate ESH requirements in association with the Environmental Management System (ISO14001), Safety Management System ISO45001, and Energy Management System ISO50001 .

Job Description
  • Ensure Compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations for control and disposal of waste, and safety and health regulations
  • Maintain all environmental permits. Control shipment and manifesting of hazardous and non-hazardous waste
  • Monitor the Chemical Storage area. Evaluate and approve any SDS through Purchasing prior to process change
  • Evaluate and make recommendations for safe chemical handling
  • Facilitate Industrial Hygiene testing as needed for air contaminants, noise, etc.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and approve all manufacturing process changes, including line modification or installation
  • Review and recommend safe work practices and changes to Production and Warehouse areas.
  • Maintain emergency response plans and organizations. Monitor maintenance and inspection of emergency response equipment and processes
  • Direct Environment, Health and Safety efforts to comply with company protocols. Assure accurate OSHA log records. Includes managing local ESH Management System
  • Controlling the physical documents, writing, or editing and incorporating directives from corporate. Includes assisting with Regional ESH Management System


Basic Requirements:

Bachelor s Degree related to environmental safety and health, Industrial Hygiene field or Engineering

Working knowledge of regulatory guidelines for Health and Safety, Environment, and Life Safety Codes

Experience with computer applications (Microsoft office, SAP)

Strong Communication and interpersonal skills necessary

Willing to travel up to 10%

Support a 24/7 manufacturing plant

Preferred Requirements:

Project Management experience

Professional Certifications - ASP/CSP, or certifications related to environmental field

Experience with ISO standards
