Molecular Biology Lab Technician - $24.43/Hour

The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is hiring a Molecular Biology Lab Technician to support our client's testing lab in Columbia, MO! This is a 1-year contract-to-hire opportunity!

Shift: M-F, 1st Shift, One Weekend shift a week, but can take one shift off M-F

Pay: $24.43/Hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Chemical, biological, physical, and/or mechanical analysis of products for research and quality purposes
• Perform qPCR tests of finished and in-process products
• Perform pH testing of solutions
• Perform serial dilutions with accurate pipetting
• Follow standard operating procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a science field (biology, chemistry, molecular biology, etc.)
• 1-2 years of experience working in a lab
• Ability to work independently within a team
• Computer literacy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional Details:

• 1 year contract opportunity with potential for extension or conversion
• W2 position
• Must be eligible to work in the United States. Unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future.
