We are looking for a Day Shift Microbiologist!
Responsibilities:
* Generate and analyze data for various projects aiming to use microorganisms to improve plant health and growth
* Perform microbial viability and stability assays
* Analyze chemical compounds found in various samples
* Process samples to recover microbes to culture them in different media
* Generate and deliver reports to different groups within the company
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry or related field with 3-5 years experience
* Proficient in chromatography software and analysis, interpretation and report out of data
* Experience with LC instruments, techniques, maintenance and troubleshooting
* Experience with microbiology techniques (microbial isolation, culture and characterization)
* Experience with molecular biology techniques (DNA isolation, purification and PCR)
* Proficient with Microsoft Office
