We are seeking a mid-level Scientist/Data Analyst to be based out our Hunt Valley, MD office.

What you will do: You will support data collection, database design and data management of analytical testing results for sediment and surface water projects, and risk assessments within the Water, Natural Resources and Ecotoxicology business unit. The successful candidate will be integrated into an existing team of scientists and engineers currently pursuing and executing a wide range of multidisciplinary projects and programs for a variety of commercial, county, state, and federal clients. This is a hybrid remote position.

What you will need:

B.S. degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry and/or Computer Science related field with 3+ years of experience with MS Access, SQL Server, EQuIS, Scribe, or other technical environmental software programs.
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
Ability to work as part of a team supporting data management
Proficiency evaluating, organizing, and interpreting chemical analytical data.
Excellent math and statistics skills and proficient with database and spreadsheet software.
Strong organization, database design, data analysis, chemistry, and environmental data management skills a must.
Solid communication (written and verbal) skills are required, including the ability to maintain an appropriate level of communication with supervisor and project/program managers.
Ability to work as a team member across technical disciplines, and must be able to adhere to schedules, scopes, and budgets, as well as EA's project quality standards.
