Location: Cambridge, MA (Hybrid)
Science: Circular RNA platform company
Therapeutic Areas: Numerous diseases including; oncology, regenerative medicine, protein replacement, infectious disease and autoimmune disorders
Job Overview: The candidate will be a leader within circular RNA sequence design and have strong familiarity within codon optimization. This is a dry lab based role however expertise in computational biology is not a necessity. This will be focused on the rational design of circular RNAs and sequence development
Responsibilities:

* Work closely with molecular biologists, engineers, and bioinformaticians to develop an automated routine sequence design pipeline
* Design requested circular RNA molecules for a wide range of discovery and preclinical applications.
* Apply RNA design knowledge to guide project planning and feasibility determination.
* Develop and refine codon optimization algorithms.

Qualifications:

* PhD in Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, Computational Biology, Genomics, or related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of industry experience and 3 years of research experience designing RNA molecules.
* Strong scientific understanding of RNA molecular biology, RNA folding, and sequence design principles.
