Title: Research Associate III Cancer Biology
Location: Bothell, WA
Start date: ASAP
Responsibilities:Seeking a Research Associate to participate in the development of drug programs.
This role is within the Target Discovery Research (TDR) team and entails biochemical and cell-based assay work in developing novel cancer therapeutics.
Conduct experiments and analyze results leading to the development of drug substances and drug products.
Process data and present findings to relevant parties. Prepare data reports to summarize scientific findings.
Requirements:BS or MS in Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences or a related discipline.
4-7 years of cell culture, biochemical and cellular assay development experience in the academic setting or biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry.
Knowledge of cancer biology, signal transduction pathways, and cancer genomics.
Skills including hands-on experience with biochemical and cellular assays including CRISPR, reporter assays, western blotting will be preferred.
Experience with developing low to high-throughput assays is a plus.
Strong data and time organization/management skills with attention to detail with desire to achieve team and individual goals.
