Honeywell (Federal Manufacturing and Technology) FM&T is seeking an environmental compliance professional interested in exploring a career at the Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC). This position serves as an environmental permitting and compliance Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) Department of Honeywell FM&T. This individual will:

Assist in the development of activities and programs directed toward achieving or improving environmental compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Provides regulatory interpretation as an SME to HS&E managers and line management to achieve compliance
Reviews plant facilities, equipment, materials, and work practices to maintain compliance or provide direction to achieve environmental compliance
Confidently interrupt current and pending regulations
Works with multiple discipline teams to determine and implement improvements
Draft and/or review permits, regulatory notifications, periodic reports and records, and best management plans
Investigates incidents to determine causes and recommends action to prevent recurrence
Advises and supports plant supervision in the effective implementation of environmental requirements
Participates in development and implementation of environmental management systems, emission tracking systems, emergency preparedness, risk assessments and related programs
Supports all disciplines of the HS&E department by participating in specialized projects
Works independently to develop or maintain environmental programs

You Must Have:

7 or more years of experience in Environmental Compliance
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering/Science or a related discipline.
United States citizen
