Responsibilities:

* Apply your broad knowledge of biochemical and cellular methods to implement our cardiovascular biology research strategy
* Support the current lead indication with detailed scientific exploration of:
* Mechanism of action to support rapid clinical development
* Indication expansion
* Drive research to support regulatory approval

Requirements:

* PhD with minimum 8 years experience (MSc with 12+ years or BSc with 15+ years experience)
* Proven track record of original research in cardiovascular diseases and small molecules
* Science-driven critical thinker who is passionate about translating preclinical science to benefit patients
* Meticulous attention to experimental details
* Proactive in identifying and solving problems
* Collaborative and broad thinking

Highly Desired:

* Cardiovascular and/or CNS experience
* Virology research experience
* Biomarker assays, high throughput assay development
* Protein and Gene Expression
