Cornell Cooperative Extension of Columbia & Greene Counties.
Under the leadership and oversight of the supervisor, the Educator will be the lead team member in developing, planning, implementing, managing, and evaluating Agriculture education, outreach, and extension activities for programs including, but not limited to: agricultural production, agriculture management, agriculture marketing and business development, agroforestry, and agriculture education.
Develop curriculum and teach adults in both group and individual settings utilizing a variety of delivery methods, to include, but not limited to: workshops, seminars, demonstrations, interest groups, newsletters, farm visits, in-school and after-school youth programs, publications and social media. Master's Degree in Agriculture, Biology, Ecology or related field plus 2-5 years related experience. Exp relevant to the role including agriculture outreach and education in Cooperative Extension or other non-profit organizations; and experience in grant writing and program implementation. Ability to work evenings or weekends as necessary. Valid NYS drivers' license and acceptable driving record.
