Otterbein University, a comprehensive liberal arts institution, is accepting applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor (tenure-track) position in Biology (Zoo and Conservation Science Program) beginning August 2023.  We seek candidates with a demonstrated commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion who will contribute to the department’s efforts to enhance diversity and provide an inclusive learning environment for all.  Qualifications: Ph.D. in biology (or a related field) or DVM, plus significant experience working in zoos and their conservation efforts.  The candidate must demonstrate an active research agenda; excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring; and a willingness to contribute to university life through advising and service. The successful applicant should have a desire to contribute to, and potentially direct, our nationally recognized program in Zoo and Conservation Science. Responsibilities: Teach courses specific to the Zoo and Conservation Science Program, as well as other courses in the major, and potentially within the university’s Integrative Studies Program.
