The Youth Delegate Program Manager role is an exciting role within our team that gets to engage with some of our top Changemakers on a daily basis! You should be motivated, passionate, a self-starter, and be ready to jump right in to get your hands dirty!
Job Summary
UNITE 2030's Program Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and facilitating execution of core UNITE 2030 programs such as the Youth Delegate Program. The YDP is UNITE 2030's flagship leadership development program for Changemakers - hosted up to 3 times per year. The Program Manager manages recruitment processes of core programs, training of Facilitators, plans speaker engagements, manages and maintains curriculum and internal communication, and measures impact of each program. The PM manages the budget for each program program, and engages with strategic partners to build capacity. The Program Manager will engage closely with the Business Development Manager to support partner engagement throughout our core programs.
What You'll Do
Strategic Program Planning (33%)
* Planning the Youth Delegate Program lifecycle from start to finish, including, but not limited to Lead (Facilitator) recruitment, Lead training and development, Delegate recruitment, Delegate on-boarding, program formatting, speaker recruitment, speaker engagement, workshop facilitation planning, resource development etc.
* Supporting Community Manager in development of core programming that delivers high impact;
* Develop new programming;
Program Execution (33%)
* Delivering on Youth Delegate Program (1-3x per year);
* Relationship management with Delegates;
* Community management;
* Planning and supporting external activities alongside Community Manager;
* Workshop facilitation;
* Lead management;
* Managing retention rates;
Business Development (33%)
* Working alongside Business Development Manager to set and reach financial goals for each program
* Ensuring outreach & KPI's have been met
* Conducting outreach;
About You
* Bachelor's Degree or commensurate experience
* 2-4 years of program / facilitation experience
* Proven track record of generating revenue through programming
* Program Management or Facilitation experience
* Strong communication skills (both 1-1 and in group setting)
* Comfortable speaking in front of large groups
* Strong understanding of complex leadership topics
* High degree of professionalism and comfort with representing UNITE 2030 to partner organizations, Delegates etc.
* Ability to distill complex topics and our mission into compelling narrative
* Adept in use of computer programs including Google
* Strong command over written and verbal communication skills
* Proven track record of strong organizational and program management skills
* Ability to adapt to challenges and challenging situations quickly
* Ability to work independently and effectively handle multiple competing projects with an eye on deadlines and goals
* Collaborative and flexible team player
* Requires flexibility of schedule to accommodate needs of the organizations that may include weekend and evening events on occasion
* Capable leader, manager and coach for Delegates
* Strong entrepreneurial work-ethic and willing to work in a fast moving start-up environment.
