The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is hiring a Molecular Biology Lab Technician to support our client's testing lab in Columbia, MO ! This is a 1-year contract-to-hire opportunity!
Shift: M-F, 1 st Shift, One Weekend shift a week, but can take one shift off M-F
Pay: $24.43/Hour
Key Responsibilities:
Chemical, biological, physical, and/or mechanical analysis of products for research and quality purposes
Perform qPCR tests of finished and in-process products
Perform pH testing of solutions
Perform serial dilutions with accurate pipetting
Follow standard operating procedures
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a science field (biology, chemistry, molecular biology, etc.)
1-2 years of experience working in a lab
Ability to work independently within a team
Computer literacy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Additional Details:
1 year contract opportunity with potential for extension or conversion
W2 position
Must be eligible to work in the United States. Unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future.
