Description

To lead the scientific agenda in establishing a translational medicine function in LEO Pharma to match the company's vision of becoming the preferred dermatology care partner.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintaining strong external network in academia and scientific communities within relevant basic sciences, Translational and Clinical Dermatology.
• Establishing and maintaining strong internal network within LEO R&D and other relevant functions.
• Development of scientific strategies to utilize new science for the benefit of patients.
• Development of strategies and tactics for improving data generation in Clinical Trials.
• Design and oversee necessary exploratory clinical trials to generate deep disease understanding in strategic areas in collaboration with LEO research (disease signature studies).
• Advise on clinical trials related to development projects and provide medial lead for ph 1-ph 2a studies.
• Support innovative and accurate cPoC plans for pipeline projects.
• Act as the Medical Dermatology scientific lead in TM and towards LEO in general if required.

Required Skills:

• Physician (MD) - board certification in dermatology preferred and PhD or doctoral thesis.
• 2+ years of experience in in clinical drug development including thorough knowledge of GCP and expertise in clinical research methodology.
