What You Need for this Position - Bachelor's degree plus 1 year experience, preferably in industry--
...OR... Master's degree plus 3 months' experience, preferably in industry--
- Willing to train someone with a strong foundation in cellular and/or molecular biology

--We also have an additional Associate Scientist / Scientist I position open for those who have more experience.
What You Will Be Doing - Maintain mammalian cell lines and tissue culture (iPSCs and more)
- High throughput cell screening
- Develop, perform, and analyze in vitro and cell-based assays
- Perform molecular biology techniques and methods (qPCR, immunostaining, etc.)
- Perform RNA and protein analysis (immunoblotting, ELISA, RT-PCR, etc.)
- Execute gene expression and modulation studies (cDNA overexpression, RNAi, CRISPR, etc.)
- Support target validation and characterization efforts
- Follow standard operational protocols
- Assist with lab inventory management
- Work cross-functionally to support drug discovery
- With support, present data findings to management as needed
