Position Summary: Our client is seeking a motivated and creative Sr. RA to join their Target Biology group and work with an enthusiastic team in a dynamic, high growth organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cell-based assays and is responsible for the design and execution of studies to evaluate candidates for the treatment of genetic liver diseases.
Develop and perform endpoint assays on cell, blood, or tissue samples, including ELISA, qPCR, NGS, fluorescence / luminescence assays, and immunocytochemistry for target validation and understanding mechanism of action
Characterize novel cell lines and primary cell systems for disease modeling applications
Analyze and present experimental data in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Maintain detailed experimental records in an electronic lab notebook.
BS/MS with 2+ years experience in a Research Environment
Experience with mammalian cell culture and transfection required
Experience with molecular biology techniques, including qPCR, ELISA
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and documentation
