Applicants should have a strong commitment to inclusive teaching practices and undergraduate research. The successful candidate's primary teaching responsibilities will include Microbiology for pre-clinical Nursing and Biology majors and General Biology. Applicants should have an earned Ph.D. in a related field and post-doctoral experience is valued.

The School of Arts and Sciences at St John Fisher University serves all undergraduate students through 33 programs, the Core general education curriculum, and pre-professional requirements. The School provides all the liberal arts offerings required for baccalaureate degrees, thus providing critical skills and perspectives across a wide range of disciplines. New faculty will arrive at an exciting time in our University's history. Our Biology program is one of the largest programs in the School of Arts and Sciences. Our student-focused faculty promote active and applied learning. We pride ourselves on the strength of our relationships with program alumni and our undergraduate research experiences.

Required qualifications:

    PhD in Biology with expected completion date by Fall 2023.
    Ability to teach a wide range of courses at the undergraduate level.

    Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US and be available to start teaching in fall 2023.
