Job Description
Experience in professional safety or environmental work specifically in Asbestos abatement, survey, design, project monitoring, familiar with SSPC C3/C5 guidelines for surface preparationKnowledge of pertinent Federal and State regulations governing the identification and removal of Asbestos containing materials and disturbance of leadFamiliarity with airborne silica generating operationsFamiliar with OSHA/PESH regulationsMust be able to read drawingsGood Computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelCandidate should have extensive knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and capable to address environmental issues
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering (electrical or communications degree preferred), engineering technology, architecture or related fieldsNew York State Dept. of Labor (NYS DOL) Asbestos Supervisor30-Hour OSHA Certification and 8-hour Lead Awareness Course are required
