Job Description
Gradient, an environmental consulting firm, is seeking a high energy individual looking for a challenging position to assist colleagues and clients by applying knowledge of environmental toxicology and chemistry to address environmental risks at legacy waste sites and with consumer products.
Excellent benefits, friendly, hybrid work environment with great locations in downtown Boston, MA; Seattle, WA and Charlottesville, VA.
Knowledge of regulatory Ecological Risk Assessment (ERA) frameworks, particularly sediment assessments for persistent organics and metals, and strong database skills required; and project management skills desired. Expertise in statistics, environmental fate modeling, field sampling, human health risk assessment, and population ecology or field biology a plus. Must possess solid technical and communication skills and be capable of designing, writing, and coordinating reports on all size projects. This position requires a Masters or Ph.D. in environmental sciences or engineering as well as three to five years prior consulting experience, including managing projects with multiple staff.
