Huntington Learning Center in Arlington Heights is currently looking for Part-Time Tutors to teach Chemistry, Biology or Physics! With over 40 years of experience, Huntington is an accredited learning center offering a range of tutoring and test prep services. Teaching for Huntington is an excellent way to satisfy an interest in teaching, even if you have pursued a career outside of education or are currently in a classroom.
Candidates that apply should be passionate about teaching and excited to see students succeed. We focus on building students' skills, as well as confidence, so we are looking for teachers to help foster our motivating environment. If interested, please apply with current resume.
Chemistry, Biology or Physics Tutor Job Responsibilities:
  • Work with homework students bring in from school
  • Communicating student needs with full-time staff
  • Diligent record keeping of student progress
  • Creating a positive, supportive and interactive environment for the students

Chemistry, Biology or Physics Tutor applicants must possess the following qualities:
  • Strong science skills
  • Professional and able to communicate clearly
  • Responsible and dependable
  • Enthusiastic and flexible
  • Open to working with students of various ages and levels
  • Ability to work with students in a 1 to 1 setting
