A biotechnology client working on drug research is looking for a Research Scientist with a Pharmaceutical, Immunology, or Biology background.
Seeking candidates with an MS or BS in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in an industrial drug discovery setting.
Essential Duties/ Responsibilities
? Conduct standard cell culture support, including maintaining and plating of primary (Hepatocytes, T-Cells and iPSCs) and immortalized cells
? Develop, validate, troubleshoot, improve and/or perform genetic perturbation experiments to support in vitro CRISPR screening, leveraging high throughput liquid handling automation
? Conduct experiments, independently and in collaboration with colleagues, to achieve gene editing in in vitro systems in support of project goals
? Hands-on experience with molecular biology methods including PCR, qPCR, DNA purification, SDS-PAGE, microcopy, and cloning
? Performing multicolor flow cytometry analysis
? Assess T cell cytokine profiles by ELISA or MSD
Requirements
? Background in immunology, cell biology or related discipline.
? Basic knowledge of laboratory practices and safety.
? Bench Level Laboratory experience
? Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
