This Opportunity

WSP is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Technician with 1 - 2 years of experience to join the Texas office team.

Your Impact

  • Asbestos abatement project management and contractor oversigh
  • Asbestos abatement air monitoring
  • Onsite analysis of asbestos PCM air samples
  • Conduct asbestos-containing materials surveys Adherence to health and safety plans, work plans, and other project guidance documents

Who You Are

Required Qualifications
  • Texas specific licenses or certifications:
  • Asbestos Inspector
  • Asbestos Project Manager
  • Asbestos Air Monitoring Technician
  • NIOSH 582
Experience overseeing abatement contractorsExperience with Federal and State regulations related to asbestos abatementStrong verbal, and inter-personal skillsGood time-management skills. Ability to focus and attention to detailMust be organized and able to communicate clearlyTeam player and technical contributorAble to operate within scope, schedule and budget during project implementation
