The core functions of the role include:
  • Helping shape strategy and implementation for Perimeter Connects.
  • Leveraging partnerships and project management practices to support change in transportation options and how people get around.

  • Creating and implementing programs focused on shifting travel behaviors of key audience segments including office, hospitality, and retail.
  • Leading, planning and staffing outreach efforts such as presentations to large groups, transportation fairs, kiosks/expos, tabling, lunch and learns, and other in-person engagement tactics.

Who's This Job For?

Someone who is knowledgeable (or highly curious) about sustainable transportation, behavior change, sustainability, transportation, transportation demand management (TDM), city planning, community development, or workforce development, and wants to put that passion and knowledge to work every day improving mobility and commuting.

Perimeter Connects is a dynamic and multi-faceted program, with the chance to help real people with real commutes while also getting to work closely with some of the region's most iconic businesses.

If you want a job that directly and meaningfully improves communities, tackles climate change, and is refreshingly different every day, then you're in the right place.

Who You Are:

We realize job descriptions often ask you to be great at everything. There are lots of other valuable traits, but our ideal candidate is an expert at:

  • Engaging and persuasive presentations (specifically making visually engaging presentations or other content/delivery to varied audiences).
  • Experience with building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Managing Teams, Programs, and Projects: You have exceptional project management experience and skills such as:

  • Strategy development and management to guide projects and/or programs towards the defined finish line.
  • Budgeting skills that can match strategy and prioritization.
  • Team-building skills that result in amazing outcomes, happy teammates, and award-winning programs.

Leveraging Data and Evidence: You're not intimidated by data or spreadsheets and the stories they can tell us, and you use evidence and insights to evolve your approach. You have:
  • Experience monitoring and reporting on program analytics.
  • Experience using data and outcomes to inform or pivot strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop metric/monitoring efforts to prove value/success.
  • Exceptional analytical, influencing, negotiating, and problem-solving skills.
