We are engaged in small molecule drug discovery for the treatment of targeted patient populations in oncology and autoimmune disease. Job Summary:

We are seeking a cellular immunologist with experience working with immune cell-based disease models for small molecule drug discovery. A successful candidate will be skilled in the execution and analysis of quantitative mechanistic and phenotypic immunology assays for small molecule inhibitor evaluation. We are seeking candidates who are self-motivated and able to work as part of a team to drive success, with a proven track record of precise hands-on lab work and the ability to think creatively and critically.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and analyze quantitative mechanistic and phenotypic immunobiology assays for small molecule inhibitor evaluation.
• Develop and validate in vitro immune cell assays.
• Process and handle whole blood and organ tissues ex vivo.
• Contribute to the investigation of target-dependence in primary immune cells.
• Clearly and concisely present results at interdisciplinary team meetings.

Qualifications:

• B.S. with 5+ years or M.S. with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical expertise, including practical experience and proven hands-on skill with in vitro and/or in vivo immunobiology models.
• Experience with multi-parameter FACS analysis and human T cell and PBMC assays highly desirable.
• Ability to independently fit and analyze data using appropriate models of inhibition.
• Previous experience in drug development highly preferred.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
