The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a student worker for The Physiology and Cell Biology Department. This position will maintain and develop software codes related to medical images analysis.

The student will work mainly on Java image processing program ( . Relevant knowledge of Java applications is a plus

Required Qualifications

UNR undergraduate student status (Second- or first-year undergraduate students encouraged to apply).

Preferred Qualifications

Computer science, computer Engineering or any other related major is acceptable.


10-15 hours per week

Department Information

Research in the Department of Physiology & Cell Biology focuses on smooth muscle biology, ion channels, neuropharmacology, gastric motility, developmental neuroscience, and reproductive biology. Our department ranks highest in extramural research funding among the Departments of the School of Medicine at the University of Nevada, Reno, as well as in the number of scientific articles published.
