HoneywellAerospace's University Relations Development program provides internship androtational engineering experiences to enable participants to grow their careersand be future HSEF leaders at Honeywell. This summer internship will allow youto gain an understanding of Honeywell Aerospace's manufacturing operations andhealth, safety, environmental and facilities (HSEF) programs. You will beembedded with the HSEF team at one of our Phoenix-area locations where you willlearn the importance of a proactive HSE management system, strong leadershipand employee engagement, and continuous improvement of processes and programs.You will lead impactful projects, gain hands-on experience solving challenges,and have an opportunity to present results to leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct hazard analyses and implement controls to reduce risk and integrate safe work practices into manufacturing operations
Support programs which ensure regulatory compliance and environmental protection including air pollution, wastewater and hazardous waste management, and sustainability projects
Support programs which promote employee health and safety and prevent work-related injuries and disease
Conduct inspections and assessments
Provide technical assistance
Coach employees on HSEF requirements
Identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities
Ensure compliance with regulations and Honeywell standards

YOUMUST HAVE:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Facilities, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Due to export control restrictions, must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Must attain degree between December 2023 - June 2024
