Senior Environmental Specialist

Logic Environmental, an established environmental consulting firm is seeking an experienced environmental professional to supervise and manage our Jacksonville satellite office. The position includes responsibility for performing Phase I and similar environmental assessments throughout Florida and South Georgia, training and oversight of a small professional staff, project scheduling and providing regulatory guidance to clients. Some overnight trips are required, but extended travel is not.

Candidates should have a BS or equivalent and a minimum of five years experience in environmental assessment, as well as a strong working knowledge of Florida environmental regulations, particularly with respect to underground storage tanks, waste management and release response. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Patience, humility and a good sense of humor are also a plus.
