This is a unique position offering the successful candidate substantial project management and technical delivery through existing projects while working to build a multi-faceted environmental and infrastructure business. The Senior Project/Business Development Manager leads all aspects of winning and expanding a business with Federal, State, Local Government, and commercial clients.
Key requirements include ability to prepare winning proposals and attract environmental and infrastructure business. In addition, the capability to oversee administration and execution to ensure project requirements are met and completed on time and within budget is important in this position. The Senior Project/Business Development Manager handles the day-to-day relationships with clients, manages the business and information reporting requirements, works with and develops Weston staff personnel while keeping abreast of upcoming work and positions for Weston to capture forthcoming work.
The salary range for this position is: $100,000 - $150,000 yr. Final salary/hourly-rate can be impacted by various factors including, but not limited to, contractual requirements, geographic location, job-related education, training, experience, and skills.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- BS (STEM preferred) plus 10 years' experience (Project, program, technical preferred)
- Experience demonstrating a progressive increase in supervisory accountability and authority for projects, programs, people, budgets.
- Experience as a Project Manager or Business Development Manager for executing agencies delivering HTRW investigation, and remediation services in the Northwest and Alaska
- Master's degree and Professional Registration and/or Certifications preferred
Expected Outcomes:
- Develops and maintains a strong client relationship. Keeps the client abreast of new developments and changes in the scope and/or timetable of the program
- Markets Weston capabilities to the client organization
- Understands Clients emerging needs and projects
- Responsible for the final quality and delivery of reports such as status reports, technical reports, and other reports required of the program
- Contributes to maintaining WESTON's reputation by ensuring professional, technical, and ethical standards are upheld by all program staff in dealing with clients, agencies, and subcontractors
- Develops and writes proposals and presentations to clients with others
- Identifies, develops, and closes on new sales opportunities to achieve individual, team and organizations sales objectives
- Forecasts client needs and communicates those to the Company to ensure we are prepared to respond to them
