ASU at Lake Havasu invites applications for a Lecturer in Biology.We seek to attract an active, culturally, and academically diversecandidate, who will teach three undergraduate courses, includingtheir respective labs, per semester in the Biology Department,deliver excellent
in-class instruction, and participate in service to the campus,community, university, and profession as appropriate. Possibleassigned courses may include, but are not limited to, generalbiology, genetics, cell biology, evolution, and microbiology.Beyond assigned courses, additional activities may includesupervision and mentorship of senior capstone projects and studentinternships. Though research is not a requirement of the position,there may be opportunities to collaborate with other faculty andcommunity partners on projects and grants.

This is a full-time, 9-month, benefits-eligible, non-tenureeligible position, and the position is renewable on an academicyear basis, contingent upon satisfactory performance, availabilityof resources, and the needs of the university. Salary iscompetitive and commensurate with experience. The appointment willbegin in either Spring 2023 (January 9, 2023) or Fall 2023 (August16, 2023).
