Pace's Ormond Beach Environmental Laboratory is a leading environmental laboratory located in Ormond Beach, FL and is a member of the largest privately held environmental testing agency in the country. We are adding a new supervisor to our SV GCLC department.

Schedule:

• Full-Time; Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  
• Salaried Position
  

Daily Tasks:

• Supervises staff including hiring, training, evaluating performance, providing compensation recommendations, and performance management.
  
• Oversees and supervises broad areas of the operations, such testing, scheduling, inventories, services, communication and general coordination of the lab, services, and field.
  
• Ensures the accuracy of tests and operational databases, reports, and related details through audits, queries, and operational reviews; works with teams to resolve discrepancies.

• Additional duties as required.
  

Attention to detail and teamwork are key!

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry/biochemistry, or a closely related field
  

• 5 years of lab services, field, or testing experience
  
• 2 years of team leadership experience preferred
  

A combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered!

Where You Work:

• Lab setting - subject to chemicals, fumes, gasses, noxious odors, and related items in a lab and samples setting
