*RS&H is seeking an Entry-Level Environmental Consulting Associate to join our team in Atlanta, GA.*

While typically this event takes place at our corporate headquarters in Jacksonville, FL - we have decided to move the event to a virtual setting to maintain your health and safety.

Our team is passionate about aviation. We provide environmental stewardship and resilience services at airports throughout the U.S. We also provide services to our transportation, federal and corporate clients. Our clients focus on technical excellence and share our passion for aviation and are seeking to operate in compliance with environmental laws and regulations and reduce their environmental footprint. You will be part of the Environmental Stewardship and Resilience (ESR) Group providing support and consulting expertise to Aviation and Transportation clients on a national level. You will be exposed and work on a variety of environmental issues from developing compliance documents to planning for implementation of sustainability and resilience practices as a part of larger infrastructure developments.

*Requirements: *
* Requires an accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental sciences or engineering or related field (completed by December 2022 or June, 2023)
* Requires an accredited Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, resilience, biology, geology, or related field (completed by June 2022)
* Understanding of federal environmental laws and regulations around clean water, natural resources (wetlands, streams, etc.) solid waste, hazardous waste, emerging contaminants, and air quality. Familiarity with recent legislative efforts providing funding for sustainability-resilience programs.
* Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
* Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is essential for use in completing assignments
* Working knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS is desired
* Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment and responsive to deadlines
* Understanding of or strong interest in working in an airport environment
* Demonstrated organizational skills
* Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
* Desired Completed Coursework: sustainability fundamentals, ecology, geology, biology, water resources/hydrology, environmental regulation/law/policy, and stakeholder engagement/public outreach

*Preferred Qualifications: *
* Exposure to airport environment and associated operations
* Registration tracked and/or a desire to be registered to a professional society or a state regulatory board in the discipline of practice within 4 year is desired, if applicable. These certifications or registrations may include but are not limited to Certified Environmental Professional (C.E.P.), Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP), Certified Ecologist (C.E.), or registered Professional Engineer (PE - Civil/Environmental) or Professional Geologists (PG)
