This position will require teaching  a sophomore-level Ecology course, upper-level elective courses in ecology or environmental biology, and a lab science course for non-majors.  A doctoral degree with specialization in ecology or environmental biology is required.  Preference will be given to those candidates with teaching experience and interest in establishing an active field research program with undergraduates that can take advantage of Covenant’s land holdings and location in southern Appalachia. The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain and strengthen our existing consortial partnership with the Au Sable Institute of Environmental Studies, and to oversee Covenant’s environmental stewardship and sustainability certificate program.  Rank and compensation will be commensurate with experience.
