BSI is currently seeking an innovative Senior Consultant with 10+ years of demonstrated ability to identify and deliver environmental consulting services to make a positive impact to workers worldwide.

This significant role will be located in the Houston, Austin, or Dallas Texas area and will responsible for developing sales opportunities and engagements for the Environmental Practice. In addition, this role will participate in the continued growth of the Region in support of the National Environmental Practice and Key Accounts.

The successful candidate will have direct experience in consultative business development within EHS consulting in a matrix organization, a strong business acumen, and be highly motivated in the cultivation of long-term and mutually-rewarding relationships with clients, coworkers, and strategic business partners.

Senior Consultant Responsibilities:

* Possess a strong business development acumen, with deep industry relationships and innovative approaches
* Participate in thought leadership activities (committees, conferences, industry associations) to identify and capture opportunities with both new and existing clients
* Conduct market trend(s) assessment and needs analysis
* Meet new clients and develop long-lasting relationships
* Generate proposal and RFP opportunities
* Develop draft cost estimates proposals with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
* Support sales functions such as providing input on sales and marketing strategy, collaborating on sales efforts, managing a book of business, and impacting client growth
* Deliver an excellent level of technical services to clients, particularly with regards to initiating services with new clients
* Be a team collaborator, builder and multiple

Education/Qualifications:

* Undergraduate degree, Master's degree preferred, as a Chemical Engineer, Civil Engineer, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, Geology or equivalent
* Professional Engineering Certification, or Professional Geologist Certification preferred
* Consulting experience in Air, Water, Wastes, EPCRA, ESA, and Training preferred
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentations, report generation and analysis, and market trend analysis
* Ability to research gather, organize interpret data from multiple sources
* Ability to plan and implement projects
* Ability to network with clients around their designated office and periodically travel within the United States
