Job TitleEnvironmental Program Manager

Location: Remote or Hybrid/USA location

Purpose Statement:
The Environmental Program Manager is responsible to lead all aspects of the environmental programs across all IDT locations globally. You will develop and implement environmental processes, systems, procedures, as well as provide compliance and technical support that ensures regulatory compliance and supports business goals.

Job Specific Duties:

* Ensures Environmental Performance through the development, implementation, and management of environmental programs across US and international sites.
* Drives critical programs such as CAA, RCRA, Stormwater, Wastewater, SPCC, TRI, etc., to reduce risks and company costs.
* Exhibits a working knowledge of global chemical substance regulations (REACH, TSCA, etc)
* Identifies, prioritizes, mitigates, and communicates compliance risks to the organization.
* Champions the environmental compliance for newly acquired sites.
* Leads environmental strategic planning for IDT.
* Manages internal audits and inspections.
* Interacts with regulatory bodies.
* Manages and organizes environmental training programs.
* Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Licensure, Certification, and Registration:

* Bachelor's degree science, engineering, or related field.
* Advanced degree in Environmental Compliance, Environmental Science/Engineering, Chemistry, or other related degree program. (preferred)

Professional Experience:

* 4-6 years of related environmental compliance experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Substantial knowledge of federal and state environmental regulatory requirements.
* Environmental compliance experience in a chemical handling/manufacturing environment (preferred)
* Working knowledge of international environmental regulatory requirements. (preferred)
* Working knowledge of ISO 14001. (preferred)

* Ability to collect, analyze, synthesis, and interpret data.
* Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
* Adapt to change, manage multiple priorities, and work collaboratively with teams and departments across the organization
* Influence, motivate, and drive collaboration.
* Safety Data Sheet (SDS) authoring and management.
* Ability to perform under stress when confronted with emergent, critical, unusual, or dangerous situations, or situation in which working speed and sustained attention are make-or-break aspects of the job.
* Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
* Ability to maintain both a high standard of courtesy and cooperation in dealing with co-workers.
* Ability to accept responsibility for the direction, control or planning of an activity.
