Microbiology QC Analyst

Job Description:

• 6-month contract, opportunity for permanent position based on performance
• Flexible pay range up to $25-30/hr for qualified candidate

Duties:

• Responsible for biological and chemical evaluation of final product, intermediate products, raw materials, and production facilities.
• Duties include performing QC assays, writing and establishing specifications, assisting in the validation of QC assays, and writing Standard Operating Procedures.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in bio-related field
• Microbiology skillset (environmental monitoring, bacterial identification, sampling, bioburden/endotoxin)
