Chief Executive Officers (Permanent Secretaries to Government Ministries)
The Fiji Public Service Commission is seeking well qualified applicants for the position of Permanent Secretaries in the Fijian Civil Service. These are key leadership positions responsible for leading and managing their Ministries, including policy support and advice.
Permanent Secretaries are being sought for the following Ministries:
Eligible candidates should have senior executive leadership experience in large and complex organisations in the private or public sectors. They should possess exceptional management capabilities and have relevant experience in setting strategic direction, leading organisational change programmes, and leading people to high performance.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, including refined political nous to build strong relationships, foster stakeholder engagement, create new partnerships and drive a culture of excellence and innovation through technology, is essential.
Resilience and drive are critical personal attributes for this leadership role and relevant academic qualifications are essential.
