Who we're looking forMcCormick Taylor is actively seeking a mid to senior level Environmental Scientist/Project Manager for immediate employment. This position would service our transportation clients in Philadelphia, Delaware and New Jersey, and as such could be based out of our Philadelphia, Mount Laurel or Newark Offices. The candidate will be responsible for project management and providing regulatory and permitting compliance for transportation (roadway, transit) projects for local, state, and federal clients primarily located in eastern PA, DE and NJ. Knowledge of NEPA compliance and documentation, and experience with wetland field work and delineations preferred. Activities include, but are not limited to, project management of ongoing contracts, overseeing and preparing environmental assessment studies for permitting, wetland/stream studies, watershed assessments, water quality permitting, compliance monitoring, and preparation of NEPA documentation in PA and DE. Permitting experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and review various NEPA documents for multi-disciplinary projects, specifically in NJ and PA. Prepare and review environmental permits and agency permit applications including, but not limited to, wetland/waterway permitting and the Endangered Species Act (federal and state). Oversee stream, wetland, and wildlife habitat assessments.Monitor and review reports for wetland mitigation projects. Utilize GPS, ArcGIS, and Microsoft office for project data collection, analysis, and reporting.Ability to travel and conduct field work.Demonstrate environmental writing and communication skills.Ability to lead teams and manage staff work on projects. Candidate must be detail oriented and have the ability to work independently.

Qualifications:
BS/MS degree in Environmental Sciences or related field6-10 years of technical and project management experience in the NEPA compliance and environmental field and other natural resource surveys, environmental data collection, compliance monitoring, environmental permitting, and NEPA documentation. Familiarity and experience with NEPA compliance required. Permitting experience in PA and DE required. We value your interest in our organization!
